Our team has designed more than 200 villas across Bali and internationally, from compact one-bedroom holiday villas to full resort developments. Whether you have an existing plot or are starting from scratch, we bring design skill and commercial thinking to every project.

Architectural design starts from $10,000 USD. If you build your project with Balitecture, we apply a 50% discount on design fees.

Your design package is yours to build with any builder. But if you want a direct transition from design to construction, our construction team can take your project straight through to handover - with a 50% discount on design fees when you build with us.

How We Work

Our Design Process

Every project follows a structured six-phase process. You have full visibility and sign-off at each stage - nothing moves forward without your approval.

Project Brief

Week 1

We sit down with you to understand your goals, budget, site constraints, and rental strategy. If the villa is an investment property, we discuss target guest demographics, nightly rates, and occupancy benchmarks so the design works commercially from day one.

Site Analysis

Week 2

Our team assesses orientation, prevailing winds, sun path, rainfall patterns, views, access points, and local zoning requirements. In Bali, getting this wrong means either a sweltering west-facing living room or a design that fails the IMB permit process.

Concept Design

Weeks 3 to 5

Initial sketches, massing studies, and spatial planning. We explore layout options, room configurations, pool placement, and circulation flow. You receive a concept design to review and refine together before we commit to a final scheme.

3D Visualisation

Weeks 5 to 8

Photorealistic renders, virtual walkthroughs, and material palettes. This is where your villa comes to life on screen. We present exterior and interior views so you can see exactly what you are building before a single foundation is poured.

Design Development

Weeks 8 to 14

Detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) coordination. Every door, window, electrical outlet, and plumbing point is specified. We resolve structural engineering with our in-house team at this stage.

Construction Documentation

Weeks 14 to 18

The full drawing set, material specifications, and permit-ready documentation. This package is yours to build with any builder. Clients who choose our construction team benefit from a clean handover between design and construction - the architects and builders work side by side, so nothing gets lost in translation.
